›Do I have to buy a scanner?
No. We lend you a handheld scanner for as long as you're a member. If you leave, you return it.
›How long does the weekly scan take?
One sweep of the storeroom. The handheld reads every tagged box in range at once, so it takes minutes, not an afternoon of counting.
›Who puts the tags on?
We do, during setup. Boxes you order through ParShelf arrive already tagged.
›Is it real-time?
ParShelf works on a weekly rhythm. Your shelf is up to date after every scan, and you can scan more often whenever you like.
›Will it order things without asking me?
No. ParShelf lines up the reorder; you approve it with one tap. Nothing is ordered without your OK.
›Does it work in my cabinets?
It works on open shelving and in cabinets with the doors open. Most practices use wooden cabinets, which suit it well. If yours are metal, tell us and we'll test it with you during the pilot.
›Which products can I track?
During setup we add the products you keep in stock to your ParShelf catalog. We add new products as practices ask for them.
›Where do the reorders come from?
From the ParShelf store at member prices, supplied by HEW Dental.
›Who sees my practice's data?
Only your practice. Your stock data is kept private to your practice's account.
›What if I want to stop?
Membership is a 12-month agreement. After that you can cancel anytime; just return the handheld.
